Baked carrots

2 pounds carrots
1/3 cup margarine
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup boiling water

Peel carrots, cut in 1/2-inch diagonal slices. Place in 2 quart dish. In separate bowl, cream butter, sugar, salt and cinnamon. Add boiling water and blend. Pour over carrots. Cover and bake 350 degrees for 90 minutes.
Microwave: cook on high for 10 min. stir and turn. Cook on high again for 10 more minutes. If not quite done cook for 1-2 minutes more. Stir.
