Granola
- 4 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup wheat germ
- 1 cup chopped walnuts or slivered almonds
- ½ cup sesame seeds
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ⅓ cup vegetable oil
- ⅓ cup honey
- ⅓ cup water
- 1 6 ounce package dried cranberries or other fruit
- Heat oven 300. Mix first 7 ingredients.
- Make well in dry ingredients and add oil, honey, water.
- Toss and spread on cookie sheet. Bake 40 minutes stirring every 10 minutes. Let cool then stir in dried fruit.
- Servings/Yield: 7 cups
