Granola

Granola
 
  • 4 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup wheat germ
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts or slivered almonds
  • ½ cup sesame seeds
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  •  cup vegetable oil
  •  cup honey
  •  cup water
  • 1 6 ounce package dried cranberries or other fruit
  • Heat oven 300. Mix first 7 ingredients.
  •  Make well in dry ingredients and add oil, honey, water.
  • Toss and spread on cookie sheet. Bake 40 minutes stirring every 10 minutes. Let cool then stir in dried fruit.
  • Servings/Yield: 7 cups
