Cream Candy

Cream Candy
 
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1 cup milk or cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • ½ tablespoon white corn sryup
  • Mix sugar, cream, butter, syrup. Bring to boil slowly. Cook until "soft ball" stage. Pour onto marble slab. Beat until creamy. Knead and flavor as desired. 
  • *Vanilla, orange, peppermint or other flavor may be used. When vanilla is used, add nuts, coconut or candied cherries. Color as desired.
