Cream Candy
- 3 cups sugar
- 1 cup milk or cream
- 2 tablespoons butter
- ½ tablespoon white corn sryup
- Mix sugar, cream, butter, syrup. Bring to boil slowly. Cook until "soft ball" stage. Pour onto marble slab. Beat until creamy. Knead and flavor as desired.
- *Vanilla, orange, peppermint or other flavor may be used. When vanilla is used, add nuts, coconut or candied cherries. Color as desired.
