German Chocolate Cake Frosting

German Chocolate Cake Icing
 
  • ½ pint heavy cream, (or can milk)
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup coconut
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 lump butter
  • Mix together and cook until thick.
