Deluxe Chocolate Marshmallow Bars
- ¾ cup margarine
- 1 ½ cups sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 ⅓ cups flour
- 3 tablespoons baking cocoa
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup chopped nuts
- 4 cups mini marshmallows
- Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla, beat until fluffy.
- Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt; add to creamed mixture. Stir in nuts.
- Spread in greased 15x10 pan bake 350 15-18 minutes. Sprinkle marshmallows evenly over cake. Return to oven 2-3 minutes, spread evenly.
- ✱TOPPING:
1 1/3 cup chocolate chips
1 cup peanut butter
3 tablespoons margarine
2 cups crispy rice cereal
Combine chocolate chips, peanut butter and butter in small saucepan. Cook over low heat until well blended. Stir in cereal and spread on bars. Chill. - Servings/Yield: Servings: --
