Grape Ice Cream

Grape Ice Cream
 
  • 1 pint whip cream
  • 1 pint half and half
  • 1 quart purple grape juice
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 can sweet condensed milk
  • ¼ cup lemon juice
  • Mix well- sugar, salt, lemon juice, and grape juice.  Add milk, cream, condensed milk. Pour into freezer and fill within 2 inches of top with milk.
  • Freeze-takes about 20-25 minutes. (Layer of salt, layer of ice- repeat).
  • Servings/Yield: 1 gallon
