Poppy Seed Cake

Poppy Seed Cake
 
  • 4 eggs, beat until fluffy
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 ½ cups oil
  • 3 cups flour , sifted
  • 1 ½ teaspoons baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 can of milk
  • 1 box poppy seeds
  • Add sugar to beaten eggs. Then add oil and beat. Add baking soda, salt and milk.
  •  Add the flour last. Then add poppy seeds. Pour into ungreased angel food pan or loaf pans.
  •  Bake 1 1/4 hours at 325. Cool upside down. Serve warm with butter or cream cheese.
