Poppy Seed Cake
- 4 eggs, beat until fluffy
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 ½ cups oil
- 3 cups flour , sifted
- 1 ½ teaspoons baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 can of milk
- 1 box poppy seeds
- Add sugar to beaten eggs. Then add oil and beat. Add baking soda, salt and milk.
- Add the flour last. Then add poppy seeds. Pour into ungreased angel food pan or loaf pans.
- Bake 1 1/4 hours at 325. Cool upside down. Serve warm with butter or cream cheese.
