Ice Cream Crispies

Ice Cream Crispies
  • 3 cups rice krispies
  • ½ cup margarine, melted
  • 1 ½ cups brown sugar
  • 1 ½ cups coconut
  • ½ gallon ice cream
  • Mix all ingredients except the ice cream. Line 9x13 pan. Save some mixture to sprinkle on top. 
  • Soften ice cream and spread over mixture. Sprinkle rest of mixture on top. Freeze quickly.
  • SAUCES: (optional): a) 1 package strawberry Danish Dessert- make according to directions
    add frozen strawberries if desired. or b) Hot fudge sauce
